Scholarships Program Overview
Help spread the word about this fantastic opportunity to your network of students!
The Foundation awards over a million dollars in scholarships every year to several hundred high school seniors and undergraduate/graduate students pursing degrees in manufacturing, engineering, or a related STEM field. Two-year and four-year programs are eligible for consideration.
Unfortunately, a small minority of our applicants – and thus awardees – are community college students.
Let’s change this together and significantly increase awards to community college students!
One scholarship application provides students with the opportunity to be considered for 60-plus Foundation scholarship funds. The application period is open until February 1st, 2022.

In addition to our scholarships, you can make a difference by becoming a Scholarship Application Reviewer!
The SME Education Foundation is currently looking for educators with STEM backgrounds to serve as reviewers for our 2022/2023 scholarship program. No reviewer experience necessary!
